[TOMBO No.1120 Processing Example] Heat-resistant Gasket

It is possible to create complex shapes easily and with high precision by automatically processing from CAD data!

We would like to introduce a case where we produced 50 gaskets for a manifold, measuring 60mm x 128mm, from a heat-resistant joint sheet "TOMBO No.1120" with a thickness of 1.5mm, based on the customer's drawing. The processing involved drilling holes with diameters of φ41mm and φ13mm. Using our plotter processing machine (with router functionality), we processed the material directly and precisely from CAD data. [D5400 Glass Cloth Processing Example] Frame Shape Gasket

Examples of gasket processing that excels in thermal insulation and can withstand high temperatures up to 400°C, designed for exhaust and incineration furnaces to prevent seizing!

We would like to introduce a case where a frame-shaped gasket was produced from graphite-treated glass cloth "D5400" with a thickness of 3.2mm, based on the customer's drawing. The size is 300mm × 350mm with a width of 45mm, and the processing involved drilling 14 bolt holes with a diameter of 15mm. Using our water jet cutting machine, we achieved high precision cutting directly from CAD data. The glass cloth has been rubber-coated and further treated with graphite on the surface to prevent burning onto the flange, resulting in a non-asbestos heat-resistant gasket. We would like to introduce a case where we manufactured 18 small-diameter gaskets (outer diameter φ80mm × inner diameter φ15mm) for exhaust systems from the glass cloth gasket "D5400" with a thickness of 3.2mm, based on the customer's drawings. Using our water jet cutting machine, we directly cut from CAD data, precisely minimizing fiber fraying. D5400 is a gasket made by applying natural rubber to glass cloth and molding it.
